The Babies Are Hungry

One cold winter night, Momma Bear was baking biscuits for her babies. She went into her pantry to find a can of chili. She found the can of chili but it was empty!
"Brian and Eric, did you eat the chili?" she asked the twins.
"No, Mommy, we didn't," the twins said.
"Michelle, did you eat the chili?" she asked.
Since Michelle couldn't talk she just kept drinking her bottle.
That night the baby bears went to sleep just a little hungry because all they had to eat was biscuits.
The next night, Momma Bear was in the kitchen baking bread. She went into her pantry to find a can of spaghetti. That can was also empty.
"Brian and Eric, did you eat the spaghetti?" she asked.
"No, Mommy, we didn't," the twins said.
"Michelle, did you eat the spaghetti?" she asked.
Michelle just kept drinking her bottle.
Again the baby bears went to bed just a little hungry.
The next night, Momma Bear was baking biscuits again. She went into her pantry to find a can of stew. What do you think she saw? A mommy rabbit with a can opener!
Momma Bear said,"What are you doing taking our food?"
"My babies are hungry. I had to find something to feed them," Momma Rabbit sobbed.
Momma Bear thought for awhile. She knew how terrible it was to have hungry babies.
"We could share our food with you and then none of our babies would be hungry anymore," Momma Bear said.
That night they had a big table for Brian, Eric, Michelle, and Momma Bear. They had a small table for Momma Rabbit and her babies, Cathy, Stevie, Jerry, Sandy, Bobby, and Terry. Everyone shared their food and no one was ever hungry again.
